You think your doing the US a favor by buying a product from a company, that for all we know probably doesnt even pay US taxes?? You've got to remember that Middle East + Other non-European countries are counted in "Others". The PS1/PS2 were pretty much the only console they saw their so this is probably the remnants of those generations.

Now those gamers are more grown up and can afford the more expensive PS3 even when it had no piracy (which was the main reason they bought Playstations in the first place). Trust me, most gamers I know in Jordan are exactly like this.

I'd refer to my gamecube as a "playstation" whenever I'd take it with me on vaca to the ME :p

Europeans are descendants of Atlantis and therefore know their true luxury items. Everything else is disposable.

Europe was and still is Playstation land. Its an established brand there.

But Xbox 360 has made tremendous gains over there in comparison to last gen..So imo Sony is the biggest dissapointment (sales wise) in Europe this gen. It failed to capitalize on its predecessors' grasp of the European market.

I've always wondered why Americans chose the Xbox 360 over the PS3, especially after the huge drought of Xbox 360 exclusives this year yet it continues to sell better than ever.

I think it all boils down to the Xbox 360 getting a good foothold in America and the Playstation 3 getting a good foothold in Europe. For casual gamers which far outnumber hardcore gamers, it's not about what's good, it's about what's popular, they don't research into things like hardcore gamers do. People buy what their friends buy, they are influenced by other people and the advertising they see on TV. Microsoft is stronger in America and SONY is stronger in Europe in both these aspects, advertising and market-share.

I think somebody has already mentioned this, but I also think it boils down to Americans preference for violent games compared to Europe, if the Xbox 360's flagship titles are mainly shooters, then where is it going to sell better? It's the same with Europeans preference for sports games.

Anyway, I can't believe this thread hasn't been locked yet, at first I thought this thread was a joke or something, it just stinks of ignorance. In just the thread title alone you are disrespectful to Europeans and Playstation 3 owners. I'm thick skinned and wouldn't usually give a shit about something like this, but what really gets me is how I would be banned for days on end for shit which isn't even half as bad as this.

I simply cant understand it. I mean we have Audi, Mercedes, BMW, VW, Porsche, Maybach, Smart and a lot brands manufactured under german control like Bugatti RollsRoyce Bentley Lamborghini, Seat, Skoda, Mini.

So why are you buying more japanese cars cant see any reason for that. Even your Politicians are biased most other politicians have a Mercedes fleet even if they have their own home brands. Same goes for you Greece, Japan, China Korea, Africa, Spain, France you hear me why are there not more German cars on your streets ? I am satisfied with UK though. UK good for you !


I monitor you closely world in my opinion all other manufacturer should surrender to the german engineering power.

There is no objective reason to buy any other cars then german or german owned cars.
