yeah I wouldn't be surprised if there are more broken YLOD consoles that are out of warranty than RROD consoles out of warranty.
No hard numbers, but you should get what I'm aiming at.

Wow all of this is just so stupid, nobody knows for sure what the exact numbers for Microsoft are, they said 'over' 66 million, i'm not even convinced they're giving sold numbers but are infact giving shipped numbers even tho they're 'claiming' otherwise.

On top of that nobody has any idea at all what Sony's numbers are for all of October-December & there figure of over (again not exact) 3.9 million worldwide for the holiday period may or may not include every single region they sell to as they sell to so many more smaller regions when compared to the competition & they may or may not have included some of them.

NPD is tomorrow & i can almost guarantee there will be adjustments from that & in a months time the actual official shipment data comes out, & only then will people know who 'won' the year. Until then claims of victory and any 'adjustments' made now are all incredibly foolish.

If we're into some twisty action,

 

All the Xbox 360s that failed from RROD, failed in the first 1-3 years.

 

All the PS3s that failed from YLOD seem to be failing at the 3-4 year mark.

 

Maybe that's why the PS3 won this year?

 

 

See, I can do it too and it's not big clever or even particularly funny.

+1 thank you, at last one intelligent person, I'm so tired with this ever running PS3-fan wrongness about 360 RROD. I'm sure There's been more PS3 down and bought again than 360s.

For the "more games bought on 360" it could be either PS3s bought for BRDs, PS3 defection rate or American-centered success of 360 (Americans buy more games than the rest of the world).

I'm guessing Xbox fans won't be satisfied as long as 360 is behind the PS3 and until more adjusments are made...

thats all they have...  with the so called massive failure rate, lack of exclusives, no blu-ray, no games, etc... etc...   you have to admit you'd be butt hurt too if your system of choice loss to that
