I love it how people say that predictions like that are sane only AFTER they're proven to be correct... If John Lucas is correct (or nearly correct) with his "60 million Wiis at the end 2008" prediction, I bet you there'll also be people saying the prediction was "easy".
That said:
- 45 milliion is the bare minimum the Wii should have at the end of 2008. A very small production increase is enough for that, and one has to happen for China/South Korea's Wii launch.
- 50 million isn't anything out of this world either, and it would be a really great result already.
- 55 million starts getting a bit too incredible for me, but it wouldn't blow my mind.
- 60 million, however...
