Just did my first ever raid in FFXIV. It was pretty fun. Got the boss to 5% and timed out. Damn diremite!

After FF9, the graphics and visuals started becoming and end rather than a mean. 10 is when they started taking out features in order to preserve the visual quality.

From initial reports, like the fact it's going to be one disc on 360 - FF XIII-2 looks like it's going to be really short.

They just didn't have time to do a lot of CGI so all the cutscenes are ingame, they said the game is 40+ hours without sidequests and will have far more side quests and a more open world to explore so probably the same or more actual gameplay.

SE says alot of things.  I'm just hoping that it's not going to be repeating the same area over and over.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Very true but FFXII was 38.4GB and 31.6GB of that was CGI. Minus the CGI, FFXIII would fit on one DVD. It only had 6.8GB of game data. That's enough to fit on a 360 DVD before MS bumped the capacity of 360 DVDs from 6.8GB to 7.8GB.

I got a great idea Wada, lets make a remake of FF10 (worst FF ever) for the vita and only for the vita, and don't worry about our past comments on a FF7, FF8 or FF9 remakes being too expensive to remake because we were talking out our asses. Also lets keep the DQ games exclusive to Nintendo platforms.
Now lets do all that and see what else we can damage, because apparently damaging is what im being paid to do. :-/

CEO's in the video game industry have too easy.

Haha, you funny man. Now go troll something else. And then, with actual knowledge of the topic you're trolling.

@MarcusDJackoson: What a pointless, uninformed comment.

The brand got damaged only when its spinoff were released in platforms other than Sony's and multiplatforms were mentioned for the numeric releases.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

I still don't understand why they chose to make another strictly-online FF game... and release it just less than a year after the disappointing XIII when it obviously needed alot more time in the oven.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yup, because Final Fantasy began with VII on the PS1, right?

Good to see someone else can see FFX for the pile of mediocrity it is. What a step back from FFIX in every way, they should remake the PS1 Final Fantasies.

The real reason they won't do that is because Sony won't allow them to go multi-platform and they won't want to go to the expense of re-making the PS1 games unless they can sell across at least the PS3 & 360. Or rather they will only do it if Sony stumps up some cash to help them out. And Sony's in no position to do that, probably doesn't want to either, at least not until SE actually delivers on the PS3 exclusive FF games they seem to have promised.

So give up on getting the PS1 FFs re-made at least for another generation or 2, when they really have scraped the bottom of the barrel and completely run out of ideas.

It also means that the game wont be cutscene, corridor, cutscene, corridor, cutscene... but i'm stil not convinved it will be good.
