that's just way to much for me.
How big is the game for a PC?

If you were smart you would know where i was going with my statement.Which is harder to lose 3 discs or 1?Meaning as like if I have 3 discs and I lose one I cant play the game fully.Whcih if I just have one its easier to keep track off.Now think before you re-post. |
If one loses a video game disc they shouldn't be playing video games simple as that. Also don't insult other members.
Former something....

How hard is it to put the disc back in the case and back onto a shelf when you're done with it?
4 ≈ One

Now here the problem with multiple discs people say its no big deal but, they are completly wrong. What happens when you lose one of the discs? You cant play the game to its full extent. You would hvae to buy the full game again because im pretty sure they dont sell the discs seperately. This is why when a game comes with multiple discs 3+ I buy it on PS3 less of a hassle. |
If you're losing any video game discs (or any kind of CDs/DVDs), then you're doing something wrong.

Well, when you have sibblings in your house that touch literaly almost everything you have and misplace them then yes it is hard.Thats why im fond to buying games that require ONE disc.
Whichever way you cut it the engine is designed in a way you want to have HDD speeds and not BR or DVD. Id have made it clear they advise installing on 360. They've used the fact PS3 has an HDD guaranteed to go the mandatory install route on that platform and of course you'll install on PC.
Without installing its clear you're looking at texture pop-in and reduced performance due to the design of the "mega texture" assets.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

So you rather them misplace your whole game instead of part of your game? Since if they are going to misplace stuff it will never make a difference if it's a single disc or one from a set they are going to get their hands on it.

Its not the disc swapping i'd be upset with, it would be more to do with installing and deleting it 3 times.
Multiple disc games don't bother me at all. I just wish all games let me install them to hard drive without needing to use the disc. That way I'd be able to install the games and never risk damaging the discs shuffling them for each game. This goes for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. I say the same for Wii, but it doesn't have a real hard drive.
I know, I know, the disc is needed to prove you own the game. Sure it's not going to happen, but that's what I want.
