Although even without all the possible events I outlined occurring - one single killer app, not just a great game - but an absolute "once you've played it/seen it/seen someone playing it - you will rush out and buy a sysytem" type killer app. Super Mario Bros on the NES, Angry Birds on iOS, Sonic 1 Megadrive/Genesis, Tetris on Gameboy all rolled into one, level of "so that's what I need one of those for!".

There's also a strong possibility of a lot of DS/3DS conversions/adaptations, so games that were impossible without a touch screen on PSP could now be upgraded/released. Maybe Quendan 2 will get a translation/localisation on PSV, and western people would finally understand "Elite Beat" and make it a massive hit!

Or they could just bundle them with PS3's.

Better yet, bundle them with 3DS, it'll sell tons for sure that way + the stand alone version sales = Nintendo will go bankrupt!!

Nintendo has dominated and will most likely forever dominate the handheld Market. They are just great at making the perfect handheld games and making you go broke over it. ;) The Vita so far looks like it'll fail. The launch titles for Japan have already almost slide off the charts (only two on their and they are really low, too) and Sony doesn't have those powerhouse exclusives going for them, Nintendo has it all practically. Nintendo's plan seems to already be in action; all they need is to get a Colored Pokemon game, a Zelda, an Animal Crossing, sprinkle on a few great 3rd party titles and voila! Nintendo will dominate again.

VITA's doing well atm compared to starting 3DS sales and with 3DS software charge at this time

The 72K the Vita did on the second week of launch during the holiday season are disasterous numbers; and 1/3rd what the 3DS did on its second week outside of the holiday season.

Sony needs to get some of their good series on PSV. Like Sly and Ratchet. I AM glad they are bringing ModNation Racers and LBP, those are great games that will be great on the system.

I think what he meant was it will survive the terrible ratio that the vita is suffering from now soon kinda like the PSP did with the NDS 2 years ago or so.

That is not what his post implies at all. He explained why the 3DS is not going to sell well, which obviously was also VERY wrong.
