You can also purchase static sets for 240, and Animated sets for 320 Microsoft points respectively.
EDIT: also its 1200MSP for all skins on one select gun, you do NOT have to pay for the set on both the Gnasher and Sawed Off.

btw, are these game unlocks, or are they dlc only?

Their are some small differences though,  I can fogive LBP because the DLC is made later and that (most) of the time the costumes are made from popular stuff like Disney movies or Spiderman and I think that cost money to may use them, but it is kind of an issue because a few years ago I was playing their Unreal Tournament 3 and downloaded skins/maps for free (and legal) and now I need to 45$ to have them all must admit it are 105 skins still that is kind of sad coming from Epic.

@Skeeuk:  I think most of them are new and some you can get from pre ordering LE/CE edition and getting the Season Pass.

If in 3 months Epic announce that they have some new character skins from the Mortal Kombat/Halo/Marvel universe for Gears of War3 then I could accept that they ask money for it because they made it later and had to put time into it and they probably has to pay to use those characters in the game.  The weapon skins are already on the disc you just have to pay 45$ if you want to unlock them all....This is my gripe with it...They worked almost three years for a game and ask you 65$ for it and probably two members of the team worked maximum a week for the weapon skins and they ask 45$ for it...  This is the horse armo(u)r dlc all over again..

While I do agree with you in basis, I think they are both are pretty stupid. (/me Ignores that he bought all of Mass Effect 2 DLC)

Wow that's just pretty stupid....those should be in the game.

I believe most of them can be unlocked in game so all of this stuff is already on disc. The sad part is someone is going to buy it. I'm not even into Gears enough to think about buying those.
