Forums - Sony Discussion - *UPDATE* (See it in action)Play PS3 games through your Vita, and use the Vita as a PS3 controller. KIllzone 3 and LBP 2 OMG!!!!!!

i dont understand... why is that you can do trans-farring with the psv which requires a psv and a ps3 version of the same game, when now it seems you could just remote play any of your ps3 games.. whats the need for 2 copys then??

Now, all they need to do is the reverse!

Why would I want to play a PS3 game on a tiny screen and lower image quality?

Maybe because you could do it anywhere?

Im pretty sure its confined to the house, its like the wii U. Your ps3 has to be on and your Vita has to be within resonable proximity of the system. It will great for when the Tv is unavailable, when you want to use headphones or for some games which dont really need a massive screen (pSN titles).

In terms of using the Vita as a control, i really think sony should push it. All 1st party titles going foward should have this feature. there are already a number of games which i think it will be extremely usefull for and at the top of the list is MAss Effect 3, skyrim and final fantasy XIII-2. I think maybe they should sell a cheap attachement which provides second trigger buttons because the touch panel isnt much of a substitute.

Many people like to play on the go. I'm sure you personally don't like portable games, but there are people like me who dream of taking their Killzone 3 gaming experience to the shitter.

"on the go" as on the bus or in school would have been great but to just have it on the toilet in the same house is pointless. Not even you love the PS3 that much, Hatmoza.

Looks like sony is going the right way to perfect their "Remote Play" game streaming idea, the main downer on PSP is that it didn't have a second analog stick, but with the Vita, they also have L3 and R3 in the rear touchpad.

whatever they're doing with the Vita, they should keep doing that!

with this one you need to be connected Wireless on both systems, as for transfarring i'm not really sure you'll need two copies, it might work like the PS3/PSP PSOne Classics did before.

ahhh i see, even if you could just play ps3 games on your psv connected via wire thats still a neat feature.

Being able to play console games on a portable without the need for a telly is kinda what nintendo is pushing with the wiiu, so yeah a welcome feature either way.

They are giving me this, as if I wasn't getting one already XD
Man, I wanted that for a while. THANKS!

You think?

I doubt that.  On the bus via 3G... no chance.

Why not?
