So I'm attempting a self imposed challenge in Final Fantasy X, basically, the rules are I'm not allowed to use sphere grids, not allowed to escape any fights I get into, not allowed to use any weapons that stop encounters, not allowed to use Rikku's overdrive and no upgrading Summons.

This game is now incredibly harder than I would like, Only at Bikanel now and I'm struggling. I'm wondering how can people do these on a regular basis.

Ha, i actually finished the game with that challenge, back when i don't use the internet much, but saw forum goers doing it

I had self imposed challenges like playing through RPGs on the lowest level possible or playing only with selffound runes on Diablo. Just usinb the hand gun in certain fps as long as the game allows it. I also remember as a kid I played through levels and killed bosses on SNES/Gameboy while holding my breath-> I became really good at diving that way.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I can do the NSG on it's own, it's the other parts I that's killing me :D. Any other day, I wouldn't care about not being able to escape but when everyone is all but dead and the next fight is a 3 on 3, not much you can do about it x_x.

And mixing...god I miss mixing :( mixing is usually what you fall back own without the sphere grid, but when you take that away, you are left nine miles up shit creek without a paddle.

I'm not really missing the customing aspect as much as I thought I would, though it does become annoying when the next boss can inflict certain status effects but you don't have anything to counteract it.

loved the challenge but I decided to end it for now.
