13 million for The Dark Knight Rises on Thursday...lets hope it can break Avenger's 2nd weekend record!

TDKR will pass The Amazing Spider-Man's domestic total and will be the third highest grossing movie of 2012 once Friday's numbers come in. Overseas number are beginning to look better also almost made more then $150 million now.

I can confirm being bombarded by TV advertisements proclaiming DKR as "Not just the best movie of the summer, not just the best movie of the year, but one o the greatest movies of all-time!!!"  I have seen this commercial more than once per night for the past few nights in a row.  And, I find it to be a gross exaggeration (per my own personal opinion).

It's obvious it won't but is one not allowed to have hope? Besides most people think it can break the Avengers record for opening weekend on this film (I'm prediciting about 80-90 million though if everything goes well.)

Forbes estimates TDKR 2nd opening weekend will be around 81 million while Hollywood reporter states 60-65 million

Friday is looking to be 20 Million from Variety estimates

2nd OW should be around 60-65 Million then...URGHHHH
