Hope it somehow legs its way to it.

If it somehow has slightly better legs than TDK ,then $500M should happen.

Hope that happens however unlikely it might seem.

I'm gonna see it 2 more times at the cinemas...first movie I watch 3 times at the cinemas. Only seen 2 others more than once...Harry Potter 1 & SW EP III Revenge Of The Sith

BTW Spidey dropps 70% this weekend...OUCH...SHooting + Batman destroyed it...$250 Million may not even be made now...very disappointing run in the US.

I feel the need to blame everything on TA .

Still,these estimates are rarely far from the truth.

I will be SHATTERED if the Avengers defeat it in the end, I had a lot of
hope by the movie's release. I mean, the shootings are not Batman's fault, nor WB's fault, nor Nolan's fault, they could have happened anywhere.

At least we get the pride of not being an average movie with 0 story.

It's not a matter of "IF"...there is no way AVENGERS isn't beating it, in America anyway.

In UK & Australia TDKR is beating Avengers OW....I think that kinda proves how it would've done in America had the shootings not happened, as those 3 markets usually mimic each other.

Such a shame.
