How does sales equal world class game, grow up. So is wii sports resort a world class game?

I find this hilarious. Activision gets all upset that EA keeps trashing Call Of Duty then one of their own developers trashes Uncharted. I think any title that sells more then a million units is world class especially if its sold across the world. Call Of Duty is just lucky to have such appeal its not that the quality of the games make it deserving of such a position. The games are good but they definatly aren't so good that they deserve to be ranked higher then Halo, Uncharted, Mario or any other major franchise. COD is just not as good as alot of people seem to think it is!

well a world class game should easily sell over 5 million. uncharted is not even the best selling exclusive on it s own system. Im not one to believe that good sales = best game ever but i do think a world class game is a game that sells well worldwide. truth hurts....

I hate terms like "world-class". Such a vague and undefined term.

It is a new IP so 4.75 million is amazing sales. Your definition of a world class game is terrible. 

1. Depends on the definition of 'world-class'. I would say that sales-wise a world class game would sell over 5M and i think UC3 will do that comfortably.

2. the quote WAS taken a bit out of context but clearly the douchebag did belittle and try to downplay UC3 - i dont think it was a direct attack but maybe an attempt to gain interest in the upcoming game by way of comparison with UC

3. I find it hard to see the new COD TPS game selling anywhere close to the FPS COD series. Gears and UC have the HD consoles sewn up and the COD TPS i think will have to come up with new ways to play (similar to COD FPS), improved graphics, gameplay to win gamers over. Then again they could spend a few hundred million to advertise.

He didn't actually downplay Uncharted, he was simply marketing his own game. That said, such arrogance... Not good.
