I recently setup Dolphin on my HTPC since the WiiU doesn't play GameCube games. The games look great but sadly they don't seem to run well. I haven't actually played one yet since I haven't set up a controller yet, just let the menu screen rub on Windwaker.
The PC I'm running it on isn't powerful at all, I forget the specs, what are the minimum requirements to run a GameCube game well?
How well does the GameCube controller translate to the 360 controller?
I hadn't planned on ripping my Wii games to the HTPC, but what are the minimum specs you need to run a Wii game? (I actually have most of them ripped since I did it for my Wii so I didn't have to use discs)
If it matters I'm launching these through xbmc. I haven't really messed with these much, I'm still just slowly getting everything added and aging issues getting my nes games to show up in the right color palette in full screen.

doh, saw your post with system specs and my HTPC isn't quite there. Plenty of ram, but my processor is only 2.7 GHz.
didnt build the system for gaming, just movies and to be a black hole of information. Currently have about 300 movies and like 15 different TV show seasons on it (with most being BluRay) and barely made a dent in the storage.
-edit #2-
amd worry not, all the games and movies on my PC are ripped myself and then the discs are safely stored in my closet. No downloading or sharing te rips from me.
