Give a rating to them? LOL, ok, 9/10 for Black Swan and 9.5/10 for The Silence of the Lambs. I've never particularly noticed Romanians having worse tastes in movies than any other nationality.

Well,I have. Most of my friends are like ''OMG,Avatar is the best movie ever!''And then we get crap movies on tv,so that also has an impact.I can't remember the last time we had a decent movie on tv.

Avatar was certainly not a bad movie. It's main fault was the corny dialogue. It put a pretty neat spin on the whole alien invasion thing, plus, it's one of the only real anti-war movies I've ever seen. And I haven't really been watching any movies on TV anymore, so I can't express an opinion regarding that.

You haven't seen many movies then. Avatar is basically Dances With Wolves in space. Or Pocahontas.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

I have to go with Warner Brothers The Departed, Letters from Iwo Jima, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Dark Knight, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemtion, Goodfellas, American History X, are just some of my favorite movies made by them. That being said their Blu-ray menus are pretty lousy though.

Miramax

Cannot believe you left them off!

Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction + the rest (Quentin Tarantino is awesome!)
Clerks, Clerks 2, Mallrats + the rest (Kevin Smith is awesome!)

I've seen many movies, including the ones you've mentioned. You're really oversimplifying the plot, which isn't fair considering that most works of fiction recycle themes from previous works of fiction. As I said, people unfairly criticise Avatar for something that every other movie is guilty of.
