For me it's definitely Disney. I'm a sucker for animated movies! And they did distribute most of the Ghibli movies in the US (not here though) so ...

I don't really have a favourite movie of all time but I liked them all. I can't say that with Avatar or Pirates of the Caribbean (the sequels, the first was good). I was convinced to see them and... ugh.

Avatar has to be the most undeserving movie EVER.

I think James Cameron had a bet with himself: how cliché can you be while making gazillions?

It was a test of human intelligence. And humans lost.

I have to say I saw it in 2D, so I could appreciate best how shitty the story was.

Most movies are actually huge cliches if you look study them well (if we go by what people accuse Avatar of). I don't really understand why people give Avatar such a hard time, and not every other movie out there.

Black Swan was actually a massive hit if you take into consideration it's pretty low budget (almost $330 mln at the BO, and a budget of just $13 mln.). Same goes for Silence of the Lambs actually.

Agreed! But they didnt reach blockbuster levels. That means they should have grossed more than 500-600M$ to be so.Have you seen Black Swan/Silence of the Lambs?

Of course I have seen them. The word 'blockbuster' has actually changed it's meaning, mainly after the release of Jaws. Black Swan would actually be considered a blockbuster going by the old meaning of the word.

I agree completely. Can you give a rating (out of 10) for those 2 movies?I'm quite curious.I'm sure you're aware that most romanians have a crap taste in movies.

Give a rating to them? LOL, ok, 9/10 for Black Swan and 9.5/10 for The Silence of the Lambs. I've never particularly noticed Romanians having worse tastes in movies than any other nationality.

It's really hard to pick one distributor since I love all of them.

But since I have to, I'll go with Warner Bros coz of Christopher Nolan. The Dark Knight. Nuff Said.

Well,I have. Most of my friends are like ''OMG,Avatar is the best movie ever!''And then we get crap movies on tv,so that also has an impact.I can't remember the last time we had a decent movie on tv.

Warner Bros owning the poll, just as expected
