Black Swan was actually a massive hit if you take into consideration it's pretty low budget (almost $330 mln at the BO, and a budget of just $13 mln.). Same goes for Silence of the Lambs actually.

Agreed! But they didnt reach blockbuster levels. That means they should have grossed more than 500-600M$ to be so.Have you seen Black Swan/Silence of the Lambs?

Of course I have seen them. The word 'blockbuster' has actually changed it's meaning, mainly after the release of Jaws. Black Swan would actually be considered a blockbuster going by the old meaning of the word.
