Sad thing is this would mean no hitman, deus ex, tomb raider, dragon quest and other games. Square Enix's name will be changed into Final Fantasy.

Eidos's developements  have nothing to do with Square's or Enix's developements, they're independent making theif 4 and Square is making lots of FF games

i'm saying this because i would HATE if Square forced Eidos around, i mean look at how much of a fanboy i am (i sent this on twitter to eidos just to tell them how much i love them >_< )

and thats not even half of the games i own from them, just the ones that were infront of me.

Square are useless now, FFvs13 was announced when i was in secondary school, since then ive left school, gone through college and had two jobs.

All this for a game that wont even sell 5 million copies.

Interesting. I doubt though we will see FF 27 in 2027. Thats just 16 years. Lets be optimistic and say roughly every 2-3 years we get a new number FF. So we should get FF XX or maybe FF XXI in 2027

I've seen this before... Like, a long time ago. Even the source article was dated June 2.

Anyway, I don't think there's any way we're going to reach XXVII by 2024. We're lucky if we have XX by then.
