it was has been the talk of the news(well here in the states) all that this huge hurricane(I believe the storm's is 600 miles wide) that will basically run right through the entire eastcoast and the tri-state area; where I happen to live(Stamford ,CT) I live with my grandmother and today I went out and bought batteries and food for us and hoping that our house doesn't get hit to hard.this is my first hurricane(or atleast hurricane experience) for me and i'm not taking any chance.(might try and buy wood to cover the house)

funny enough I had cousins who went to westhill, and when they found out I was going to stamford high they had a look of disgust.

Irene passed as a tropical storm in where I live and it was very bad because Irene was moving slow( 14 Mph) and lots of rivers overflowed. Last Thursday I was in a 3 hours traffic jam because great part of the city that I live was flooded.

I don't blame em! :P Westhill High School was a joke to us in footbal, but our rivalry with Stamford High.....

I live in nyc so I'm getting hit pretty hard. Public transportation is being shut down and I'm sure that times square is gonna be shut down. Where I live, I'm not really getting hit hard but my friends that live like 40 blocks up above me have been issued a flood warning.

tell me about it, i had health classes with all of the football coaches and my history teacher was the basketball coach, they wouldn't shut up about it, I always found it funny then when we were against westhill our school's "school spirit increased ten folds! lol
