1. afaik it's a sequel to the original..I haven't read or seen any reports stating otherwise.

2. graphics look good..doesn't mean it will be better than nintendo or not able to be done on the nintendo...take a step back think how your mind worked there. if we wanted to tout the graphical capabilities of the psv, we would have brought up games like Golden Abyss ;) let's see that done on wii and 3ds and we can talk.

3. this is a smaller screen, if you have played valkyria chronicles 2 you would know that that automatically indicates this game will look fantastic on the psv OLED.

4. with the art style of the game, there is so much you can do with the graphics..it should be obvious

Just like M.U.G.E.N said. Almost i see on the net are indicating that this is a sequel and new game. I saw one when I read gaf's thread but it's only 1up and it still not certain. As of right now I'll treat it as a sequel until Konami said it otherwise or you can provide me solid link that confirms it.

 Psv is not the perfect platform??? Wow just wow, be happy the game still exist for crying out loud. Who would have that thought that will have another LKS?

If Suikoden VI will be announce on a console that I didn't have. I'll be happy and buy it and even buy the said console even though it's not within my budget to buy another console.

Game looks really good. Should be interesting to see how the touchpad controls are implemented in this game. I can definitly see them being benefitial to it.

Some people's reactions amaze me, they look at everything (everything) said from a consoles war point of view and nothing else. They keep claiming to be above it, but always respond to anything said (here and in other threads) as though the reason behind any opinion not in line with theirs is fanboyism/console adversity. While that just reflects on them, it is still irritating since it prevents any normal discussion.

OT - I can't speak for others, but when I say on a sales site that something is imo on the wrong platform I mean that imo this will sell less well than had they put it elsewhere. That is my opinion, and nothing to do with what consoles I own. Had I been the business owner (I am by the way, just not of a games developing company) I would have made such a game multi platform. Only putting it on the 3DS would have (again imo) also been a bad choice.
And when I say the game doesn't look that good to me it has nothing to do with the platform choice, so answering that it looks better than it did on the Wii is again the wrong answer.
