seems odd this would be announced for the vita and not the 3ds, doesn't seem like the right choice of systems imo.
^^ I thought the same thing, good news for Sony though when you start getting those games too.

It's being realeased later this year in Japan.
This console looks like it is going to have a good variety of games. I hope I have more money by the time it gets released.

it's actually a re-imaging of the original game. So not really a sequel.
The way I see it, it's kind of like MHP2 -> MHP2G and Pokemon D/P -> Pokemon Platinum. Same game but with added content.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Not that I care about them, but the graphics don't look real good to me. Also, seems like the wrong choice of platform, but I guess we'll see.

@bmmb1: it looks better than the wii version and the art style looks so much better...and this will be on a smaller. glorious OLED screen. game will look fantastic. besides it's not a game where the gfx is a big part afaik.
