Great... the weakest PS3 territory in Europe.

strongest

highest sales.

Sorry... all others consoles sells better than PS3 in UK... so weakest.

PS3 is stronger in Japan even it selling less numbers than US.

Soory, but no.

Ask Sony which their strongest markets are... they deal in raw sales numbers not some other spurious factor.

Their answer would be the US, Japan and the UK.... in that order.

Dude... US and UK territories are the weakest.

Sony needs to do better numbers in these countries.

God get over yourself, you're wrong. Sony don't measure it like that, if they sell 1 mill in UK and 800k in France, they're stronger in the UK

COMMON SENSE.

Selling 5 million in a country of 100 millions inhabitant compare to selling 1 million in a country of 10 millions inhabitant  reflect your brand being stronger in the later. It just depends about what we are talking about. In the weakest when compare to possible sales of the U.K. market, in the strongest when compare to Sony overall sales by region.

RELATIVE. (I didnt like the common sense...)

Strongest and weakest is relative, depending on the logic behind it both can be said. Its true that if you compare to its competitors UK is PS3 weakest region. But its also a strong region for Sony when it comes to overall sales. You guys are arguing for absolutely no reason.

If 5 out of 10 people that are buying a console buy my product compared to 3 out of 10 I'd have to say I could improve the most with the lower one even if it sees higher sales overall... its all about demographic so it would be useless to try to increase sales to people who arent interested in buying the console. I agree with ethomaz... and increasing sales in a region that sells the most already wouldnt make a company go bankrupt

guess who decided to make a big deal about it... hint they hate the ps3.

people like kowen and seece hang on every word of ethomaz, just waiting to pounce even if what he said isnt incorrect, its because of partisonship of a console

logic > common sense

MCV is reporting (via an anonymous retail source) that sales of Sony’s PlayStation 3 console have spiked by a whopping 65 percent in the U.K. on the back of last week’s price cut.

Not a bad effort.

hmm......interesting to see what vgchartz projects.

Not really, I don't hate the PS3 either. He was wrong as several people pointed out in the thread.
