Wait!? how do we know its not a giant title like FE is known to have in Japan?

I'm totally ignorant about this series. I heard it's quite similar to advanced wars in terms of gameplay. Is it true? In that case I'm interseted.

It's sort of like chess, and it is turn-based like chess. You have different pieces that can move more/less spaces, and you have different attributes for them. You have quick agile units, ranging units, and "tanks."

I really love this style of gameplay because you need strategize with how you place every piece. If you run up with a ranger to get some quick hits in just out of range of the enemy, you need to then surround your ranger with guys who can block and take the hits for him. Look up some youtube videos!

Not really. It one game. FIre Emblem games are notorious for their long titles.
