Hope thats not the Final Wii U.

Didn't notice before, but the Wii U's front isn't as refined as the Wii's.

The assymetrical SD/USB lid, power and eject on the same side, and that ugly sync buttom or led... Plus no slot light!

So more or less another price drop confirmed. I wonder if it will be 99$ or 120-130$

Looks like it's going for $99 since it's cut GC compatibility to cut cost.

That's true. Then again it's probably not the final design.

Guess so, but the original design ought to top 100m by itself anyhow, unless it's completely replaced, and that is the point.

On topic, this really appears to be too late. Unless they advertise the heck out of this, they won't get very far, :O.

If they do, we could still have another Wii-like holiday, :D!

When Xbox 360 and PS3 got their redesign they really changed in appearence.

This is strange, at least to me. I mean, i always spoke of a redesign, but this is not what i expected...
Looks too much like Wii U, which could mean that either Nintendo is, in a way, preparing customers for a Wii - Wii U (like DS and 3DS) resemblance or that it has a new Wii U design and applied it`s former design to Wii. I sincerely hope Nintendo went for the complete redesign of Wii U... i really liked that fake Project Cafe design! :D
