Forums - Sony Discussion - The PS4 should have Move packed in (along with the Dualshock)

I predict the ps4 controller will be a fusion of the DS3 and a move/navi combo the DS3 can be split into 2 to switch into a motion control and reform for normal play.

"We need Dual shock power now!" <-----failed power rangers reference ftw.

Are you my brother?

No Luke, I am your Father!

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Boomerang dualshock that you can split in two motion controllers. I'm calling it now.

I agree that it's time for the split apart move/ds3 hybrid controller, but that will only work if sony can figure out how to get reliable aiming without the camera. A controller with a glowing ball sticking out of each half looks a bit too silly and they would be in the way of the shoulder buttons. Getting rid of the camera dependance also saves on cost. Selling them separate for the few games that actually use the camera makes sony a lot more money.

It's getting too crowded on top of the tv with sensor bar, kinect and ps eye balancing on a tiny edge.
Will we see the ultimate gamer tv next gen, 3D with built in Kinect 2.0, HD usb camera and sensor bar in the frame.

I'm not so certain it is a good idea on Sony's part to change the controllers. I'm also not so sure it would be a good idea to include Move with every single console. If every single owner had it, the games would likely start incorporating it a lot more into their games, and likely even have parts of the game that require it. Not sure about you guys, but I just want to play video games with my normal controller.

Yes, I don't want gaming to move forward, just some better graphics for next gen, and more memory for better AI and stuff, fundamentally the same stuff, but that is not necessarily what is best for business

of course its making profit! its 80bucks! ... it was makin profit right out the door, but that doesn't make it successful. Move has not integrated into enough games to be relevant.. yea every now and then a 3rd or 1st party can will use but nowhere near kinect levels.

Move is compatible (ie integrated) in 53 games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_compatible_with_PlayStation_Move

Kinect is compatible (ie integrated) in 32 games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Kinect_games

So yeah no idea what you are talking about, Kinect just has more advertisement.

According to movemodo.com it already has 78 games and 44 more have been announced

Nice seems the move wiki list is outdated.

I think the future of hardcore motion control games depends heavily on Skyward Sword sales.

1. One's personal opinion is not a valid argument, as I'm discussing how to get millions of people on board.

2. I stated that the Dualshock should also be there.

3. It's in best interest of developers to allow both options anyway. It worked for a number of FPS on Wii and PS3.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
