I am getting board with the current gen consoles(Wii and PS3) and I am thinking about buying an old gen console to keep me entertained! Its also a very cheap way to get a lot of games and a new console LOL.

Anyway I have previously owned a N64, and Genesis but don't anymore. I also have interests in other systems though for its like a whole new experience.

Please vote in the poll and explain why that system should be the 1 that I buy.

I will really take your opinions in consideration.

What games did you play on N64? If you've already played all the goodies (Zeldas, Mario, etc.), then get a Dreamcast. If not, get an N64.

I have played a lot of games on the N64 but miss some of them LOL.(Yes I have played Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Banjo and more)

Don't buy any, emulate.

Among the picks, the Dreamcast is simply a bad one. Too much has been ported.

Get a Genesis. Even with all the stuff that SEGA ported to a million and one platforms, there's more than enough games for it that a man can love. Midnight Resistance, Contra: Hard Corps, Socket, Valis III, Revenge of Shinobi (gonna release on 3DS I think but I love originals), Wonder Boy in Monster World (I think that's how it was called), too much SHMUP games for me to list, Alisia Dragoon... blah blah blah. The Sonic games are also NICE with the Genesis 6-button and are cheap. I don't play them anywhere else!

I did forget about Sega's recent Dreamcast initiative on PSN/XBLA, which should lead to most of the notable titles appearing on those platforms.

Hmm... I say choose ALL OF THEM!!!

In all seriousness though it all depends on what you like to play. I'd say go for either a Genesis or an N64 as I personally love the 2D Sonics and the 3D Zeldas.
