I think... this is BS, here is the proof:

Reggie's statement is so blatantly fake, that it doesn't require proof to call it bad speech.

I just wonder long will Nintendo keep their fingers in their ears and how much money do they have to lose in order to act right?

NOA is a time bomb that exploeded with inactivity ages ago; its pathetic.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Xenoblade Fails:
Reggie: It won't sell in America, it's your own fault.

Xenoblade is a success:
Reggie: We are currently very busy with WiiU, we don't have time for localizing.

It's amazing how Reggie's popularity has gone from sky high to dog shit within the Year.

Lol @ the bullshit. Reggie is as transparent as always. Represents of Nintendo Europe could come out in the next 3 or 4 weeks and call the game a smashing success and NoA will still sit on their asses, with no plans to release the game in NA. It's just as well though, because if the game isn't a huge success then Reggie will just pull the nobody wanted it card.

How technical is your game?

I don't think he'll be around much longer tbh.

Does anyone know the pre-orders this game has for Europe?

This is unfair, JRPG's always sell their greatest numbers in North America. EMEAA has always been the smallest of the three regions for sales, and how hard is it to import it? Just change the region Nintendo! The game is already ready for you!

Maybe Reggie is going through mid life crisis and making the rest of NoA suffer with him?

Well, Since this is happening alot with nintendo recentlyI won't be buying anymore Nintendo machines any longer. The next game I'm anticipating is Skyward Sword on the Wii. If this game, and the other 2 do not come out, Nintendo is dead to me.
The next game that would get me to purchase the Wii U will be the next Smash, and I will guarantee that it will be the only game that I will get on that thing if it doesn't have similar releases as the next PS and Xbox. Next gen sure will be different for me, can't wait.

I don't understand this. The localization is already a sunk cost. Unless they really think sales will be so low that it won't make selling and admin costs in the region, it really doesn't make since not to just release it here and change "colour" to "color."

They do have the British VA, but I think most people here would prefer that to the standard issue of anime VA in America.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

That's nonsense! Europe is a terrible market for JRPGs and they know that. They're just trying to make up lame excuses for not releasing in NA. Xenoblade is bound to bomb in Europe (it doesn't get the communication campaign that DQIX or MH3 enjoyed) whereas it would be a huge it in the US. Look at those figures! JRPGs do much better in NA than in EMEAA :

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn NA - 260K; JP - 170K; EMEAA N/A (too low to tell)
Tales of Symphonia DoNW NA - 200K; JP - 240K; EMEAA N/A (too low to tell)
Hyperdimension Neptune NA - 70K; JP - 70K; EMEAA 10K
Atelier Rorona NA - 152K; JP - 80K; EMEAA 28K
