Forward Time Travel: Black Holes  and Wormholes are considered as the only way we will ever be able to experience time travel but this in only to travel towards the future not the past.Its like having a ferrari and volvo going to a theme park.A ferrari will travel fast and reach the destination ahead of the Volvo and enjoy more time than the volvo which will have less time as it will spend more time traveling.

Time Travel back and forth: Black Holes could be  portal to different time-zones within our universe since the begining of time and and towards the end of time like parralell universes

Portal to other universes: Black Holes could be portal to different universes with different physic laws.

Exit of the Virtual World: Like whats shown in Tron.This could be a virtual world and all that comes in our and minds and what happens in this world could be directed by a user.Its like GTA,where Niko Bellic goes to sleep to freshen up but who is giving him the command,its us.same way somebody gives us command to go to sleep.

Disintegration: The end nothing else.

Well maybe not, on the other hand all we have are theories and nothing more, nothing less. We won't know for sure unless someone tries going in to investigate.

black holes make me crap my pants when i think of what they are capable of... they absorb light making making them less visible and that coupled with their destructive power makes them a serious threat... then theres also all sorts of other crap out there like gamma ray bursts that could take out earth with ease...

all these crazy things keep happening but its the way to go,

even if earth gets wiped out,we wont just end,if we did then the existence of everything would be questionable

how the universe came to existence,when did time start,what was there before big bang,where did it come from

even if we ends and universe ends,we won't just dissappear we will be there in some form or the other

I can't really vote based on the thread title, as Black Holes and Wormholes are (theoretically) two different things.

A Wormhole seems to be associated more with time travel or time "jumping" to different points in four dimensional space.

A Black Hole is even more elusive in its purpose and existence; IMHO it could hide or be a gateway to the mysteries of the universe itself: The existence of space and time and consciousness, which begs the age old "chicken and egg" question of which came first; existence or the ability to create existence? Perhaps there is no "first", as in our current finite lives it's hard to comprehend infinity.

Perhaps when we die (i.e. transcend this existence) we all understand the universe(s)...

I think they are awesome to talk about.

i think you place too much significance on humans...

i highly doubt that if earth is wiped out by some localised event like a black hole or whatever that that would have any impact on the universe itself...

for all we know we could be wiped out long before we even get a proper chance at solving these mysteries properly...

all i can say is that i hope that in my lifetime some of these questions are answered, some people say that your consciousness is eternal but as far as i'm concerned theres no proof of that and imo our consciousness is caused by electrical impulses in our brains...

its one thing to saya that energy cannot be created or destroyed but will always be converted to one form or another but how do we know for certain that that applies to an individual's consciousness?

As far as black holes do, they are so dangerous that trying to come even close to them would mean certain death, so the fact that they may be doors to other dimensions, etc. is rather pointless as we will never be able to take advantage of it.

Black Holes fascinate me.

But the most likely theory is they disinigrate everything that goes in one.
