Blackholes actually exist, where as wormholes not so much as I can tell. As an astrophysicist, I spent half a year studying the mechanics, temperature profiles and evolution of blackholes. They are fascinating things and I think is reassuring to know that we have one gigantic black hole at the center of our galaxy.

We don't know. But if we currently knew the answers to these questions (such as whether or not we're eternal), what would be the point of living now?
If you think, "When I die, there will be nothing and I'll ceace to perceive anything", then what's the point of this current experience in the end?
Conversely, if you think, "When I die it doesn't matter, because I exist eternally", then again, what's the point of this current experience in the end?
The mystery and wonder that this proposes to our imaginations is one of the key factors that keeps us going. After all, not a single one of us truly knows whether or not we are the only essence that really exists... or at the same time, if you really exist at all.

i am not placing too much significance on humans that why i said in some form or the other it will exist not as humans only though

why does there have to be a point or purpose?

yeah wormholes are fiction
they are just the type of black holes integrated with the idea of time trvel withinthe same universe but only forward
i only added it in the title as some people know about it from science fiction movies and it will be easier to understand

Agree with what you said, as the only sentient life on this planet, we believe our existance is significant. however its not necessarily the case.
for the wormhole theory, i believe (based on science) that the laws of physics exist outsize our own unvierse. and its very possible that we exist in a multiverse, where there are many other universes. however i dont think that a black hole can take us to alternate universes or dimensions. i dont think life can exist in or around a black hole.
tbh, we see all these sci-fi programes and stuff, but realistically i dont think we will travel at speeds capable of reaching alien worlds.

don't get me wrong here i'm not saying with certainty that we will be faced with oblivion when we die i'm just saying that theres no real proof of either outcome being true but we know it has to be one or the other
