What the hell is with people saying Wikipedia won't accept this data as meaning it isn't reliable.  Why should wikipedia use this data when every quarter, they can use the OFFICIAL shipment figures.  Yes, Wikipedia simply has the shipment figures on their website.  They do not have the number of consoles actually sold on their website.

It is also really funny the specific things you mentioned you can no longer do with pro.  You say instead of being able to see what your favorite games were selling, when you can still look up every single game, and determine what it is selling.  You say you can't look up the top 50 by console, yet I JUST went to the software page, limited my search to one console, hit enter, and WALA, you have a list of every single game for the console in order of what its sales are.



Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Why dont you pay attention, before when weekly sales data came in you could view the Top 50 by console, you could see what the Top 50 best selling PS3, DS, PSP etc games were of that week. Now though you can only see the overall Top 40, you cannot filter by console.

Im not talking about the total overall sales, im talking about before you'd have something like this

Then you could filter between console, developer or both to see what practically any game was selling, now you cannot. They ruined it because they got greedy and to see this data now you have to pay which nobody will.

i might have missed it in this thread, but any estimation on when the changes will arrive?

i appreciate its a lot of work, but are we talking sometime this year, or next?

looking forward to the sales site, hopefully company financials etc can be thrown in to make it a complete data hub.

Any chance we could go back to the old school VGChartz Rich Text options... like colors and sizings? (We have them in the gamrFeed area... but they don't translate to gamrConnect).

I miss making my posts pretty. :P

Anywho, I'm glad to see ioi and the gang always being committed to every facet of VGChartz. I hope everything works out. ^_^

Please bring back the prediction bets on hardware, software in the three regions. Instead of VG$, we can use our XP to gamble with on the prediction leagues. It would be good to see how accurate or inaccurate the punters will be in predicting the weekly results.

Nominate one of the three regions: two or three weeks in advance and lock in bets a week before the numbers are released. The sales predictions was a draw card for a lot of the members of this site.

I think the old debates by fan boys were interesting. With out them this site lost its appeal. I think the stats are pretty accurate. This site seems to have turned into a video game store with sales figures not the interesting forum it used to be. A lot of the contributors who I like grew up or got banned.
