Zelda is the better series in my opinion.

Zelda has a lot more depth so it gets my vote, but from what I've played of recent entries into the series, it seems like they just keep remaking OoT.
Not keen on either of these gaming icons frankly.

Zelda by a reasonable margin. Even the games that I've hated, I've liked. Cant' say the same for all Mario Games.

I will point out that Mario is a much more flexible character though. He can do just about anything, whereas you can't really take Link out of his Hyrule element and have things feel normal.

I also saw a 100 greatest games list, some time back, that didnt have any Nintendo games in the top 30. Like i said, 9 times out of 10.
