Sony hates nintendo so why would sony save them, also there will be lots of celebrations in the gaming industry sadly.

yeah and the wiimote and ps move are radically different to the le stick... they aren't all wands that track motion... 

The Wiimote had games designed for it, Le Stick had not. That's a pretty significant difference when it comes to video games.

Nintendo came up with the idea that made motion gaming a success when everybody else who tried before failed miserably. That's why I'm saying they put more effort into this gen than Sony or Microsoft.

Nintendo came up with the idea to make games for such a device. Nobody before did.

the power glove was a third party accessory to the nes guess who made the first games for it? ( hint nintendo would be wrong )

i didn't know that you were talking about the success rate i thought you were talking about the originality of it... well yes i definitely agree that nintendo has been the most successful gaming console company ever in terms of motion gaming... doesn't mean in the slightest way that they came up with the idea

The Power Glove isn't a wand though. Neither is a light gun.

When it comes to video games, hardware is completely useless without software.

absolutely true but the point can also be made that without hardware or the concept for hardware video games are completely useless or in other words hardware to run video games and video games themselves are mutually dependent on each other

if nintendo had made games without having the console or the concept for a console to run the games what would have been the point?
