I would be interested to see if MW3 can catch up to Gears by launch time. Quite likely imo.

You may (probably are) right about the over estimating, but im not so sure about the gears numbers increasing soon. I think most gears fans pre-ordered their games already and we will only see a huge increase in the last 1 - 2 weeks. As for MW3, i dont think we have seen its highest numbers yet and considering the HUGE fanbase, i think it will shoot past Gears.

How can Battlefield and Mass effect be that big all of sudden ? , and what about Assassin's Creed , the two versions used to be side by side, and Halo CE is nowhere to be seen.

These numbers are BS! Battlefield 3 (360) crushing MW3 (PS3) okay we all know it's Americas but Black Ops on the PS3 had a 3.1 million launch last year which I don't expect any version of BF to get close to. Uncharted 3 WTF! Biggest beta on PS3 leads to this. And AC Revelations is being advertised on the PS3 it would make sense if the preorders were closer to the 360 version right? I do't really know about Halo CE but then again with all the bullshit preorder numbers VGC has been giving us I don't know what to say

Don't want to sound fan boyish but i'm am pretty happy to not see the Halo CE on the list yet. I would rather see new game on the list than Remakes.

Actually, UC3 is doing very well compared to UC2
