i cant see it... if the gears numbers follow the usual patter then they will increase dramatically soon.  Then again we could see some stealth adjustments to the gears numbers due to over estimating them thus far.

You may (probably are) right about the over estimating, but im not so sure about the gears numbers increasing soon. I think most gears fans pre-ordered their games already and we will only see a huge increase in the last 1 - 2 weeks. As for MW3, i dont think we have seen its highest numbers yet and considering the HUGE fanbase, i think it will shoot past Gears.
