While that may be true, I find it humorous that I don't own any CoD or GTA games :)

we never get deals like that in the UK on recent big games. |
Yeah I know its a badass deal, if I didn't already own it I for sure would've bought a copy, it was a deal we made with Sony to clear out stock though I think cause we got overshipped on the game since it came out pretty much, same thing with Fallout New Vegas we only sell it for $19.99 new right now due to overstock.

it's been about 1.5 years so that's not recent at all. and we see sales on games like this one all the time in NA..doesn't happen in the uk?

Microsoft released the shipped number for the quarter (1.7 million)... VGC is pretty accurate... so no adjustments needed (maybe NPD is wrong).

NPD usualyl wrong? I thought they were super accurate.

So we got, and we'll probably still have after Japan data arrive, a three balls-testicular pie. 3DS (America+EMEAA) last again and will probably be WW too.
Kinect 7th in America but not so good elsewhere.

It more accurate than Media Create / Famitsu and less accurate than Chart-track (or the Nintendo tracking).
NPD just tracks 60% of the US market... 40% is estimated... just to compare Chart-track tracks 90% of UK market (this is super accurate).
NPD make adjustments month to month too.

Actually I think it quite the opposite. I've been living in the UK for two years and I'm impressed with how fast prices drop here. I bought God of War 3 last year for £18. A few days ago I bought Prince of Persia Trilogy for £10 and I paid the same for Enslaved. I've bought around 100 games in 2 years, cuz the prices are so damn low and I just can't resist. Dragon Origins 2 (360) is £15 on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Age-2-Xbox-360/dp/B003VM8HHM/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1311301426&sr=1-1 Isn't is much newer than God of War 3?
Plus you can find Final Fantasy 13 (360) for less than £10 and it launched around the same time God Of War3 did. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Final-Fantasy-XIII-Xbox-360/dp/B001RCU95G/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1311301563&sr=1-1
