The man clearly hasn't played HIS OWN games.
ODST is great!
MS isnt saying Reach isnt the best halo every made.... it is.... and they know it is.....
BUT it doesn't continue the story everyone loves.
People care about MC and cortana. They lost their way by not having them part of the story.... would we have preferred a halo 4 than Reach? of course we would have! Would we have been able to have it? Of course not because Bungie was moving on to new things... so was there any point in starting a NEW trilogy and only making the 1st game? Of course not.

Cortana was a part of the story in Reach but MC only had a cameo. I think Reach was more for fans of Halo and the lore. I mean I think it's a great game in it's own right and it doesn't have the Flood present which is the best part to me.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Well Master Chief is a fantastic character despite what some in here are posting, he's easily one of the most beloved in all of gameing.
And the main reason for that was BECAUSE he was so vague and had very little revealed of his personality. It allowed players to project themselves into Chief's boots and pretend for a bit they were a near invincible super soldier with God like power.
Granted I'm a huge Reach, ODST, Wars and everything Halo fan and I enjoyed playing as those other characters and seeing their stories but at the end of the day everyone wants to know what happened with Chief and Cortana. They are the central pillers of the story. I know even after all these years when I saw John wake up from cryo in the debut trailer for Halo 4 and come to Cortana exactly when she needed him, just as he predicted at the end of Halo 3, it gave me goosebumps.
Halo: Reach is the only good Halo game, the man is wrong.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
I think I probably enjoyed ODST and Reach the most. Reach was definately way better than I was expecting. I do however think if they are going to try and develop the Master Chief then the remake is a good way to go about it. What the Master Chief was good at though was as an icon.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.I agree Master Chief was a bland character but I would love for him to have a little more depth this time around
maybe giving him a bit more personality rather than just an alien killing machine
perhaps letting us see what he actually looks like would be pretty epic and add to the character

Remembers the horror of fighting the flood for half of halo 1, 2, and 3... Ok give us master chief, but just make sure to keep the huge open worlds and colorful backdrops of most of the campaign in halo reach. The game should be about moving around giant battlefields fighting massive covenant armies, not be a corridor crawler with pathetic attempts at horror...

So Master Chief was a great character because we could imagine we were him? How is that different from any of the other mute, personality free characters we play in any other FPS? I pretended that I was the guy from BioShock, too. Guess what? They had the exact same personality. Being a blank slate doesn't make a character great/beloved. It improves the immersion but when it's all said and done, I'm not marveling over how Master Chief overcame his fear of heights or whether he reconciled with his father or anything.
MS only cares about the sales of the games all they did so far is putting Bungie under a big pressure and deadlines that in the end has hurt the Halo games.....Halo CE sorry Bungie Xbox live will not be available so no Multiplayer for the game....Halo 2 ...Sorry Bungie no extra time for developping the last stages of the game cut the ending and replace it with a cutscene (making Halo 2 's ending one of the worst videogames endings)... Halo 3 sorry Bungie no time cut firefight out of the game and release it...And start to work on DLC!! Oh that DLC looks good make it a little bigger put firefight in it and we can sell it as an full game brilliant! Ensemble studios the game has to be released people want Halo wars cut those extra levels you wanted to make' You want more time for Halo Reach Bungie? To create more levels/maps bringing an open world to Reach and water vehicles;...No time ..Cut it...
And it still goes on 'Hey 343 industries make two Halo games in two years..you guys can do it!!
Meh.....
