for now this is a maybe. Doesnt look like hes doing much.

Enjoyed the first one a lot even though it was short. I'll pick up this game. My guess is that most reviewers will give it a 7.5 or so. I'll probably enjoy it more than them though.

i loved the original, then again im Luigi biased, so...

This game looks awesome! I loved the original Luigi's Mansion, and I thought the potential of a sequel was given up on, but I am so excited for this!

Money crisis has made me getting this day one less likely, but can't wait either way.

The original LM was pretty good. I'll pick this up once I get a 3DS

I hope the finished version does a better job delivering tension and atmosphere, like the first one did. The slow, close-up shots of Luigi opening doors, and the silent parts of the mansion where all you could hear was Luigi whistling the theme, or the floor creaking, or the occasional thunder, went a long way towards enhancing the simple gameplay in order to deliver a memorable experience. Without them the game feels incomplete, to me.

edit: after viewing it again, I also think Luigi's speed and jumpy animations are detrimental to setting up a proper level of tension.

The game looks solid, day 1 for me for sure...
