No its not just Classic in 3D. It had its own characters( even the original 8 have new backstories), its own story, its own combo system( much much more flexible) yea it was slower but all 3D fighters games are slower than 2D counterparts. This series has more than enough of its own Soul to be a standalone. EDIT: Ignore this post.

and your corny and wrong, can you move in 3 dimensions?? No you cannot, thats why its not a 3d game. I didnt address the new characters and all that other crap you mentioned because thats not what he asked, relax and go smoke something

Talking about street fighter I think that Kairi and Garuda from Street Fighter EX should be in SSFIV.   Kairi is a "light Hado" master, so it will most probably kick ryu ass!!, and Garuda was created by the souls of dead men who were consumed by the Satsui no Hado, so most probably he would desintegrate Akuma with a bitch slap XD.

Never knew Arika did SF EX as well. I actually quite liked that game, so I'm excited to see what they do for the 3DS

These screenshots are from their cellphone game

Did those 3DS fighting game demo screenshots Arika released earlier today look a bit less than 3DS quality? There's a good reason for that. They're actually not 3DS screenshots.

After the images were posted, Arika vice president Ichiro Mihara revealed at his Twitter that they're actually test images from cell phone development. If the game were actually made for 3DS it would be even prettier, he said.

We believe you, Mihara, but you may want to mention this at the demo page so people don't get the wrong idea.
