Tales of Abyss is coming to the 3DS later this year for America.
Former something....
I don't understand the obsession of fans this gen wanting every games on their console of choice. I'm so glad that I owned all the current gen consoles. No need to cry and wine about a game that I can't play.

Soriku was talking about localization of the two games not creation of new games. Tales of Graces F isn't even out this year for Western Market.

Yes I know, but Soriku's reasoning as to why they won't give PS3 users Vesperia doesn't make sense since they are focusing on re-releasing an even older title than Vesperia.

You've got it entirely wrong if you really think this is only about people wanting it on their console of choice.
For example I own Vesperia on 360, even though I no longer own a 360. It was my favorite JRPG this generation. However, the PS3 version is wanted by me due to additional storyline content, additional character (Patty) and not to mention much more Flynn playing time and I can also get to battle with Don Whitehorse.
To many that is what is important, not console preference.

I see the world map on the bottom screen and graphics almost 100% indentical to the PS2.
What else is new?

| Soriku said: Uh...it's not a rerelease though. It's a remake for a new platform (and they're probably trying to start to capitalize on the 3DS right now). And it's still new compared to ToV PS3 which was back in 2009. Completely different from a port with extra content of a game that came out in 2008. Abyss came out 5 years ago. |
Seriously? Remake?
Seems to be more of a port with 3D bunged in to me... To go along with the usual 2nd screen functions that "DS" games get.

Apparently, Spring 2012.

The game is just an enhanced port I believe.
4:3 ratio increased to 16:9.
World Map displayed on bottom screen.
Ability to make quick choices for AI companions in battle with bottom screen.
Displayed in optional 3D.
That is all I could find in terms of what is new. Everything else is pretty much the exact same as the PS2 release from 5+ years ago.
