Forums - Gaming - Hardcore Motion control games?

Can anyone tell me what hardcore game  that came out that use tacked-on motion controls that didn't work?

The reason I ask is because I notice  that the developers of  BioShock, uncharted, Battlefield, Rage... well almost all the developers that make hardcore games thinks by adding montion  controls to there games wouldn't work. I want to know what proof do they have that show us that it don't work?

So right now I'm looking for this Hardcore game that use motion controls that doesn't work, can anyone find this game that all these developers are talking about????

Well Ken (Bioshock creator) apologised at E3 (totally unnessacery, trying to upstage Gabe) and is adding move support to Infinite.

the point that people generally make is that games like the ones you mentioned uncharted, rage etc either play better without motion controls or that most people would rather not bother to use the motion controls anyway

Yeah I understand what you are saying but how do they know it works better with out it if they dont try?  Or how do they know ppl wont like it if they dont try to use them 1st and see what happen?   I haven't seen one hardercore shooter for the ps-move get one bad remark.

its extra work to do that and devs are lazy, ok maybe not all of them. Oh n Red Steel 1 sucked ass

Heyy now we getting somewhere, okay you think the devs are Lazy. Thats cool but that's not a good reason to tell ppl  adding tack-on motion conrtol dont work when they never tried in the 1st place.     And   RedSteel for the "wii" sucked becasue it have bad graphics, the controls worked, becasue I beat that game. I was able to fly  right threw it.

i thought Red Steel 1 controls were meh. but the sequel was a damn tour-de-force. n devs arent going to say there lazy, thats what excuses are for

Wii Sports Resort-sword fight! That is so hardcore, I put so much time to develop my skills. I'm unstoppable in that game muahahahaha!

I can give you loads of examples of so called 'hardcore' games with successful motion controls.  For those with disapointing motion controls it is much harder.  The first thing that comes to mind is Monster Hunter 3, where nobody uses Wiimote + Nunchuk, opting for CCPro instead.

Though tbh, I think it is more a reflection of certain developers hesistance to use motion controls, rather than the supposed failure of motion controls to apply to 'hardcore' games.

I kinda feel the sameway about what you are saying, and yeah I know a lot of great  games that had good motion controls myself as well.   I played MH3 and that game didn't really  use any motion,  they didn't even use the  "cursor" on the wiimote for the " Bowarrow weapon", and  you couldn't  swing the sword around with the motion controls  either.
