Most developers weren't happy that people actually liked the Wii and kept talking it down. In most cases, motion controls aren't a question of implementation, but rather developers' pride. On a sidenote, I always played Monster Hunter Tri with the Wiimote/Nunchuk setup, because I can't imagine that it would play better with the Classic Controller. I would have to sacrifice the ideal position of the analog stick for virtually no gains at all. |
The only drawback to MH3 motion-control was occasionally when i was trying to run in the game one-handed (so i could type on the keyboared), and set the wiimote down, the motion would accidentally unsheath my weapon, then get have to resheath so i could run again...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
2 games I bought, where motion controls were disastrous for enjoying the game (because of their inaccuracy), were Deadly Creatures and Cursed Mountain.
Im sure theres more, but those are the two that come to mind.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I can only assume you didn't read the question properly.

I want to know what proof do they have that show us that it don't work? |
There is no proof for this. These people are blithering idiots.
For example: Wiimote+Nunchuk controls for shooter are always more pracise and fastaer than gamepad controls. Or look at Silent Hill: Shattered Memories or Red Steel 2, the motion controls helped this game much.
Sure, tacked on motion controls for Gamepad-games don't work, you must create a game for motion controls.

I thought Killzone 3's move controls worked quite well. What was your problem with them, might I ask?
