The main problem here is admitting that Nintendo did something right after mocking them endlessly before. Most developers weren't happy that people actually liked the Wii and kept talking it down. In most cases, motion controls aren't a question of implementation, but rather developers' pride.

On a sidenote, I always played Monster Hunter Tri with the Wiimote/Nunchuk setup, because I can't imagine that it would play better with the Classic Controller. I would have to sacrifice the ideal position of the analog stick for virtually no gains at all.

The only drawback to MH3 motion-control was occasionally when i was trying to run in the game one-handed (so i could type on the keyboared), and set the wiimote down, the motion would accidentally unsheath my weapon, then get have to resheath so i could run again...

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
