No love for the Batman Trilogy Tim Burton oversaw in the early 90s I see.

They ruined that with Batman and Robin!!!

Why does the 3rd par of a trilogyt seem to ruin soooo many trilogies for people? (At worlds end, X-men 3, Spidey 3, Terminator 3, Jurassic PArk 3, Godfather 3).......Revenge Of The Sith and Return Of The King are exceptions to this rule.

In this case it was part 4. Batman Forever was part 3 and it got pretty good reviews. They should have stopped there!

=1. The Godfather - Admittedly, I haven't even seen the third one, but I loved the first two.

=1. The Lord of the Rings

3. Jurassic Park

4. Rambo - Well, it's actually a tetralogy, but what the Hell, wick did it too.

5. Back to the Future

6. American Pie

7. Pirates of the Caribbean - Haven't seen On Stranger Tides.

8. Spider-Man - The first two movies are "meh", and the third one is just God-awful, but I can't think of anything else. I'm more of a TV show guy.

If you had seen the 3rd one, it would no longer be your #1.

1. Toy Story

2. The Lord of the Rings

(These 2 are the only trilogies I've ever seen that were consistent in quality)

3. Star Wars original trilogy (Return of the Jedi wasn't as good as the amazing first 2 films, but it was still an OK movie)

4. Back to the Future (the first was by far the best, and the following ones weren't as good)

I think the old superman films were a trilogy? No love for the it seems!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Sorry bud wrong again. There was Superman 4: The Quest for Peace. Christopher Reeves last go as the man of Steel. Then years later we have Superman Returns, which could stand on its own or be included in the franchise.

You clearly missed my post Darth

Tim Burton's Batman movies are the best of all, especially Batman Returns, but Nolan's Batmans are well constructed in terms of characters (especially Ledger's Joker), though the first movie was a bit lacking in the story department.

I tend to forget that Batman&Robin ever existed....that movie was an aberration >_<. Fucking costumes had nipples for crying out loud, nipples!!!!
