Completely off topic, but what the hell is wrong with my ISP that it's not connecting to YouTube properly (all i get is plain-text no flash?)

I'm getting cut off from a few other google-owned services too. Not gmail, or Google proper, but google analytics (key tracking server), Google Books, and Google Translate (rendering Chrome's translate function useless)

I checked other slots on campus, and it's not just me... How does an ISP lose touch with servers?

At this point I'm not even sure which would give me more satisfaction: Playing all three games, or egging Reggie in the face!

(seriously, I'd pony up the cash for that . It's too bad this wasn't organized before E3 as it could have been awesome to boo NoA off the stage at their presentation )

I guess that would be the next step if this doesnt make any difference...

hmmm... now you've got me in a dilemma. I mean if the games make it to the US I get to play them with minimal hassle, but if they don't I can still mod my Wii and get to ridicule Reggie to no end... sounds like the better deal if you ask me

(to be clear, I am extremely PRO this campaign)

Haha, nigh on to 3,000 comments, every single fricking one about Xenoblade and TLS

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm very interested in seeing how quickly or if, Nintendo makes a response to this. With all of this happening during the weekend, it can't be expected for them to comment on it now, but I'm wondering if NoA will at least acknowledge this happened sometime this week?

What I would like to see happen, since the effort is an online grassroots campaign, is for Nintendo to publish Xenoblade, but give the fans the ultimatum that the game needs to sell a certain amount (200-250k?) in a certain time frame (3-5 months?), in order for them to publish The Last Story. I think that gives fans at least one of their games to stop them from being upset with Nintendo, and it gives Nintendo an out on publishing the other games if Xenoblade doesn't do well enough to make it worth their while.

Its been working that way for third parties on Wii this entire gen, anyway

and they say only Nintendo innovates...

TLS is being released in English by NoE now in 2012, there's no need for some ultimatum BS when NoA has to do little work to bring the game over here. Same goes for Xenoblade.

I'm not sure how much work NoA would have to do--does that mean recoding both games to NTSC format, repackaging them, and occasional tweaks to the dialogue to make sure it flows like smooth English and not "British" English? (Sorry if I came across as offensive as using that latter description, but I really don't know a better way to describe a country who spells "color" as "colour".)

Sounds more like a canned response to me.  I doubt they're going to annonce them THAT soon.  We need to keep the campaign going, we can't let it stop here.  Besides, I think this is just a setup for more disappointment.  Everyone -- DON'T FALL FOR IT.  They are NOT going to announce anything on XB, TLS, or PT, we need to keep the campaign going.  They think we are responding to SONIC AND MARIO, not the three games.  The updates are not REALLY going to be what you want, don't fall for it.

There is no excuse for the games not to come here they just don't want to bring it period.

Sorry for being rude, but you sound like a whiny toddler here. Do you seriously think Nintendo "doesn't want" to bring games here? Why the hell would that be? Do you think they hate you or video games or sales or something? If they aren't bringing it, they have a good reason not to. Why would they risk losing fans for fun?

I'm loving the fact that people are getting together and making an effort to convince Nintendo, but some of it is getting ridiculous.
