Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo's Facebook bombarded with Xenoblade/The Last Story/Pandora's Tower comments

This has become very interesting.

It is unfortunate that Nintendo gamers have to pretty much beg and plead for 'Finished' games, but it really shows how passionate they can be, and that there are really core Ninty fans left.

Supposedly, Xenoblade was coming in September, but E3 did nothing to confirm that. I commend the efforts of these gamers. Hopefully, there are enough to keep it at #1 on Amazon or a couple weeks. The PSN hack really did not get attention until a few weeks passed.

Maybe Lulzsec should get in on this

It's coming in September in Europe.

Ahhh I see.

Then damn, NOA has no excuse this time...  The Last Story...I can understand that being a 2012 release. The Kirby team was to localize that after they were done with Kirby, but Xenoblade?

That game was shown at E3 2008 was it not?  For Pete's sake, what was the point of making that or The Last Story for one or 2 regions with such decent production values?

I think it was because Monolith and Mistwalker made them. Nintendo does not like to promote titles made by their 2nd party teams. Only EAD and such get their games advertised or publicized. Personally, I think there is some internal jealousy that has been going on there for 10 years.

Link to this? Not that I doubt your words, I just don't recall reading any articles concerning this in the past. Must've slipped by me.

Anyways, Operation Rainfall has a Youtube video up. Nintendo's Youtube page is also being bombarded with pleas now.

By the way, how do you embed videos in this forum again?

How technical is your game?

I hope they notice this, if they ignore all the comments and petitions and don´t localize at least one of those games, i could see a lot of boycotts, specially for the Wii-u, which is supposed to cater to the "core" gamer, and how can they expect to gain their trust if they could not even bring those games to America, considering one of them will be all translated just waiting to be released? very bad move in my opinion.

I don't think boycotts will make the situation any better; if anything it'll probably just make it worse.  I say that what WE are doing right now is the better thing to do.

There is no excuse for the games not to come here they just don't want to bring it period.

At this point I'm not even sure which would give me more satisfaction: Playing all three games, or egging Reggie in the face!

(seriously, I'd pony up the cash for that . It's too bad this wasn't organized before E3 as it could have been awesome to boo NoA off the stage at their presentation )

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

I know, and i didn´t mean boycotts right now, but if they come and say that those games won´t definitely come to America, there is gonna be a lot of angry gamers, not me, i´m not the kind of people who will go out boycotting, that´s why i really really hope they realise the potential of those games in America.

This little incident has gotten pretty big. One way or another, NoA will have to acknowledge it, and if they don't, it would show such a fundamental community disconnect that it would be damaging for the company's image. I mean, Nintendo's always been inferior of the big three in terms of community outreach, but this would become quite a PR mess if they end up ignoring this and not releasing the games, as if nothing had happened.

Maybe somebody should tell on NoA to NCL

NoE are definitely doing a great job, and NCL obviously appreciates the value of quality imports as can be seen with their efforts localizing Goldeneye and Epic Mickey in Japan, both of which are coming this summer. Hell, they even payed to have Epic Mickey's camera fixed for the Japanese audience!
