Is Ubisoft teasing this game early for WiiU? I suspected it would go multiplat.

Actually a nice video, pity it most likely won't go viral. Hopefully it does.

I guess it will be the next generation's Red Steel

Let's hope this turns better, sales wise.

Also, haven't Ubisoft said that they are working on an unannounced exclusive fps for the WiiU?

The first Red Steel actually sold quite well with 1.21 million, the same amount as the more recent and better reviewed Goldeneye. It's only the seccond game that bombed.

True, bit it had the advantages of being the only fps the console had at the time, it was also very hyped and had the promise of fun fights with swords.

Well there was that but still not bad sales, and I just noticed that VGchartz is missing EMEAA sales so it's probably over 1.5 million all up. Makes you wonder why Ubisoft waited so long for a squel and then left out multiplayer on a local multiplayer focused console...

Probably they waited because of the bad reviews the game got, specially the sword fight which was the main appeal of the game, so when the wm+ was announced they though it could solve that problem and start the sequel.

As for the multiplayer part, who knows. Ubisoft does some strange things sometimes.

Truth through repitition. They believe it wasn't worth it and expected low sales. Why would you invest more money to make it better when you believe it won't sell?  There are just a lot of things that don't make sense for the Wii.
