But I didn't read the selling out part. I think that Wii supply will outstrip demand by Summer 2008, as normally this is when it usually happens, but like the DS and PS2 before it, it'll sellout during holiday seasons.
This is a tough question. Nintendo is at max capacity and is still struggling with demand and there is a lot of kids that have Wiis owed to them for Christmas. The system appeals to such a broad range of people and theres a ton of people in the "I will get one as soon as I can find one" crowd. You also have the I am waiting for x game to come out crowd that may be waiting for Brawl or Kart. By the time a lot of people are appeased it may just be Christmas time again and the cycle begins again.
So I am going to take a shot in the dark by saying that it will be a bit easier to find when summertime comes around but will be sold out again by September.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

QFT, I absolutely agree. We will likely see some signs of sellouts slowing down early in the year but nothing widespread. Ultimately it will be hard to find again next X-mas and it will likely settle in and be readily available sometime in early '09 around March-May timeframe.

Right after Wii fit and with SSBB and Mario Kart on the horizon. Ha, no way in hell..
I predict it'll slow a bit by around September/October when game sales start to slow, but will soon pick up again by November at the start of the holiday season.
