The thing is Wii doesn't need to sell like this for 4-5 yrs. As long as it stays like this through 2008, then it'll win this generation.

And personally I don't think Nintendo has any intentions of letting this console have a traditional lifespan. Will probably bring out its successor in 2010-2011 timeframe.

wi will not stop selling because there aren't such a thing, but Wii in the other will not stop selling in 2008, not even 2009, after 2010 is a another thing...

Nothing's cheaper than something free.

I have to with 2010-2012 on this one as well. Just for the sake of argument... as far as ps3/360 go...
Ps3-2015 - I'm actually believing Sony with 10year life span..maybe more will see
360- 2010- Ms likes to get a head start in the console wars..

The question is when will the Wii stop selling out, not stop selling. There are already places where it has stopped selling out, so I guess if the question is when can the Wii easily be purchased anywhere WW my guess is sometime in 2009, though it's possible it may be sooner(~July-Sept '08) but I'd wager it will be mostly sold out again in December '08 again if that's the case.
