Forums - Nintendo - Miyamoto confirms Zelda HD in the works.

They started development already, if this is true then we should see my dream of an HD Zelda by 2013 =O

^ Quite the tease lol

Yeah, I'd be happy to play this in 2013 or 2014. Let it cook a while, Nintendo, to build up the excitement.

Well, it seems they do not intend to do New Zelda Wii U after all. Well, sucks for them, loosing my money.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I knew it, Nintendo will go the length of making a super demo of Zelda and not have it made. I told myself that's a game they are making when I saw the press conference dispite what Nintendo was saying. No hardcore gamer can refuse the Wii U now that is mentioned. If you still don't like the Wii U,"peace, love, and all that good $..t. I will be buying Wii U.

Just hope they forget about that generic black/brow/silver E3 Zelda demo and make something with a better art style. Moreover, so far I can't see how the new controller can improve the gameplay since the Wii Remote with the motion plus is almost perfect for action/puzzle games like Zelda.

Great news, Zelda in HD will be awesome.

I fully expected Nintendo to show me what I would've never thought of.

I don't care how unsurprising this is, seeing it said out loud still makes me excited. :D I do wonder what sort of special uses they might have in mind for the controller with Zelda games outside of use as a menu screen.

Maybe holding the controller up to the screen to aim the grappling hook / bow.  I can picture something like that being put to use.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm also wondering if they'll somehow include wii-mote use in the game, or at least another Zelda game if not the incoming one, depending on what the feedback is for Skyward Sword after release.

Hmm
