The three I put highest in Seece's thread were Skyward Sword, Skyrim and Uncharted 3.

Of those, I think Skyrim will score the highest, but the other two won't be far behind. I'm not sure any of them can beat Portal 2, though.

Dark Souls

Demons Souls was a huge surprise and ended up with a meta of 89. Dark Souls is everything Demons Souls was plus more.

It should walk away with the highest meta.

Uncharted 3 should be up there, and could walk away with the top score. Even if it doesn't, it should win many game of the year awards as well as almost every award in it's respective category, much like Uncharted 2 did.

Safe bet is Zelda and I'm pretty confident it will be.

I think Uncharted 3 will be hit a little harder by critics and score lower than Uncharted 2.

I do however think Gears 3 will see a better meta than Gears 2 due to a VASTLY improved online system as well as full 4 player co-op throughout the entire campaign.

So pretty much I think the top 3 will be

Zelda
Gears 3
Uncharted 3

but a game like Rage or something could come out of nowhere and be a huge critical darling so we'll see.
