Now now buddy I was joking with trashy because he is the coolest Canadian on here and nothing more. If you have talked to him and seen his posts you would know this. If my post seems outragous and insulting it is probably because I am joking.

Sorry mate! I was out of commission yesterday and didn't get back to this sooner. I had a clever little quip back at choco too .

And really? I'm the coolest Canadian? Wow... that's a huge blow to Canada

Namely when I am so much cooler! :P

What I wonder is how much rioting there would have been had the 8th seeded Hawks came back 3-0 and knocked off the Canucks in game 7 OT.

I'll be honest, we are nice people in general, but when it comes to Hockey, some of us can get nuts. It also does not help that half our culture is based around United States. 

Given I think the problem in this case was actually because some people are actually want to burn down the city, and our system is TOO FUCKEN nice on those idiots. Seriously I doubt anyone of those pricks will get jail sentence they deserve, or if they do, rich parents will bail them out. 

If you want to see true Canadians or true fans of the sport, you should have seen the day after the riot.

Gillis whining?  As far as I recall, he pointed out some interesting stats. The one who whined was your GM's daddy...he went into Terry Gregson's office and yelled, bitched, cried, whined on and on (and on) after going down 2-0 in the series...about the time the calls on penalties seemed to shift.

As far as diving, I would challenge you to show me a Daniel Sedin dive (Henrik is a notorious diver...as bad as Kane, I would say).

Bettman was being booed, like he always is in Canada and some American cities. Rioting was a black mark sure, as there were citizens joining in after some of the professional rioters began to start crap (turned a couple people on my facebook in, after they bragged about their escapades), but doesn't the clean up the streets in one day, by volunteers nonetheless, cancel that out?

And as far as Huet goes, I recall you calling him a good goalie last year, while I argued that he was crappy...although, I can't find anything on this 3.0....4.0...whatever we're at now.



What i said last year was Niemi > Rinne = Huet. And i fail to see how that video shows the nhl wanted to get the hawks in the playoffs... how about the game on friday february the 4th? or how about the game friday february 11th? both games hawks lost because of bad no goal calls... one was because of that cry baby louongo.
